Demonstrating the commitment of POLSIS to discussing the big political issues, a group of academics from the department met to discuss a new paper by Dr Sotirios Zartaloudis, ‘Explaining Brexit: A Bullingdon Dinner Gone Wrong?’

In the paper, Dr Zartaloudis argues that much of the discussion of Brexit has overlooked key comparative dimensions of the process. His paper provoked a lively discussion with the three discussants: Dr Charlotte Galpin, Dr Peter Kerr and Dr Tim Haughton. The discussion is the first of several this new academic year involving members of POLSIS.
