Birmingham Tech is a not-for-profit community initiative that aims to raise the profile of the Birmingham and West Midlands tech scene by helping tech and digital businesses to scale successfully with valuable knowledge, insight and support. With our focus on regional growth and championing innovation, the University of Birmingham is an ideal partner for this annual event.

This year we are hosting a Digital Skills Day at our new home in Birmingham city centre, The Exchange

The day will explore why digital skills are vital to ensuring our region goes from strength to strength. Join us to hear from PWC, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, BT, Accenture and more with workshops at 10:00 - 11:00 and again at 11:00 - Noon.

Register to attend the Digital Skills Day here.

The day also includes a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the University of Birmingham Coding and Data Analytics Bootcamps. Hear directly from former students on the skills they learnt and the impact it has had on their career and from employers of Bootcamp graduates. You will even experience a sample taught by one of our Bootcamp instructors at the end of the session!

The Bootcamp sessions are suitable for employers who would like to learn more about Bootcamps for their colleagues and potential students who want to experience a coding bootcamp.

Register to attend the University of Birmingham Coding and Data Analytics Bootcamp - AM session here and PM session here.

Then, launching as part of Birmingham Tech Week, SuperTech welcomes HM Treasury FinTech Envoy Chris Sier to the West Midlands and to the inaugural community networking dinner which will bring our Digital Skills Day to a close. Not only will this event provide a unique opportunity to hear from Chris on his role in promoting English FinTech, but it is also a chance to meet peers in the ProfTech sectors in person.

Whether you're in fintech, lawtech, proptech, insurtech, HRtech or other professional services tech related domain, come and join us for an evening of mingling, chatter and smiles at the University of Birmingham’s elegant new city centre location, The Exchange. Places for the dinner are limited and available on a first come first served basis. Ticket price includes drinks reception and three course meal.
