Applications are now open for this year’s Music scholarships. A University Music Scholarship is a great opportunity for prospective students - who plan to study something other than Music - to receive £3,000 worth of tuition over the course of their degree, as well as the chance to take part in many of our performing ensembles.

There are 15 scholarships available for talented choral, orchestral, and jazz musicians, and the deadline for applications is Friday 7 May 2021. For more information, and details of how to apply, please visit University Music Scholarships.

University Music provides the University of Birmingham with one of the liveliest music-making scenes of any campus. With around 1500 positions available in our 35-plus ensembles, members participate in a variety of instrumental and vocal groups, across a range of abilities and styles. University Music is open to students, staff, and the local community, and provides participants with opportunities for professional coaching, exceptional concerts, as well as the chance to apply for yearly scholarships.
