An expert on counter-terrorism and security and International human rights law, Professor de Londras has extensive experience commentating in the national and international media. Her research covers constitutionalism, human rights and transnationalism. She explores these themes primarily in the context of counter-terrorism, the jurisprudence and future of the European Court of Human Rights, and the reform of abortion law in Ireland.

An all-round specialist in counter terrorism and terrorism, Dr Hewitt has written for and commented to national and international media. He is currently researching historical terrorism, including lone-actor terrorism in the past. He has written an overview of terrorism and counter-terrorism in Great Britain since 1968 for an edited collection by Routledge that will be published in 2018.
