Residents will have the chance to question candidates standing for the Edgbaston seat in the General Election at a hustings taking place at the University of Birmingham on Thursday 19 March.

Marc Reeves, Editor of the Birmingham Mail and Editor-in-Chief, Trinity Mirror Midlands, will moderate the event, which will be hosted by Professor Adam Tickell, Provost and Vice-Principal of the University of Birmingham.

The hustings will feature Gisela Stuart MP (Lab), Dr Luke Evans (Con), Luke Dargue (Lib Dem), Phil Simpson (Green), and Henna Rai (Ind).

The event takes place in the Elgar Concert Hall, Bramall Music Building, and will run from 18:00 – 19:30. Candidates will each have the opportunity to speak for a short time before a Question Time-style discussion.
