In collaboration with the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership, the University of Birmingham is pleased to host a three-year project, part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, that will advance its pioneering work in quantum technologies.

The Centre for Innovation in Advanced Measurement in Manufacturing (CIAMM) has been developed to help SMEs within the Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP area discover the full potential of quantum technologies, through providing access to world-class technical expertise, research programmes and collaborative partners.

Small and medium-sized businesses also have the unique opportunity of accessing specialist, technical equipment through the new Quantum Technology Innovation Hub (QTIH) at the University of Birmingham. The Hub offers free access to specialist equipment to enable research, experimentation and detailed product testing for a wide range of businesses, particularly in the engineering, manufacturing, photonics and telecommunications sectors.
