These awards cover tuition fees for up to three years full-time, or six years part-time. Scholarships will only cover tuition fees paid at the Home/EU rate.

International students are also eligible to apply, and will receive a contribution towards tuition fees equivalent to the Home/EU rate if successful. 

The awards also include £11,000 support per year towards living expenses for full-time applicants, adjusted pro-rata for part-time applicants.

This fees-only scholarship is available to both full-time (one year) and part-time (two year) students. Scholarships will only cover tuition fees paid at the Home/EU rate.

International students are also eligible to apply, and will receive a contribution towards tuition fees equivalent to the Home/EU rate if successful. 

The College of Arts and Law offers a number of home/EU fees-only scholarships for Master's-level courses starting in September 2019. International students are also eligible to apply to receive a tuition-fee discount, equivalent to the home/EU rate.

These awards are worth up to £3,000 for full-time Home/EU students and up to £10,000 for full-time Overseas students and are paid as a contribution towards tuition fees. The value of the award will be adjusted pro-rata for part-time students. 

 

The College of Arts and Law offers Distance Learning bursaries for doctoral research students. These awards are a fee contribution and are available to current and prospective UK, EU and overseas students.

The School has several Darwin Studentships available to International Students or EU Students who are not citizens of the UK.

The Darwin Studentships specifically fund PhD projects in the area of microbial (preferably bacterial) molecular genetics.
