'The Big Questions' on the BBC

On 27 January 2013, Dr Steve Hewitt took part in a debate on whether torture is ever justified on BBC 1's The Big Questions. The debate around torture has been reignited by Kathryn Bigelow's controversial and Oscar-nominated film Zero Dark Thirty which depicts the successful use of torture as part of the hunt for Osama bin Laden.
