Round table exploring the history and current condition of Greek cinema in the context of the European Union, the traditions of the European art house, Greek myths and contemporary World cinema. Chaired by Professor Rob Stone, with Dr Lydia Papadimitriou (Liverpool John Moores University), Dr Rosa Barotsi (The Institute for Cultural Inquiry in Berlin) and Dr Elena Theodorakopoulos (University of Birmingham), followed by a special screening of Ulysses' Gaze (Theo Angelopoulos, 1996).
