Role

Chris joined the CDT in September 2017. Prior to this, he graduated from the University of Sheffield in July 2013 with an MEng degree in Aerospace Engineering. 

He is funded through the EPSRC CDT  in Fuel Cells and their fuels: EP/L015749/1.

Biography

During Chris’ degree, he studied a number of engineering and materials based subjects relating to aircraft and aircraft performance. Before re-entering education with the CDT, Chris worked in the aerospace industry for four years.

Research

Chris’ area of research focuses upon the chromium poisoning of SOFC cathode materials.

Other activities

In his spare time, Chris enjoys a variety of activities including football, running and learning to play the guitar.
