He is a thermal researcher skilled the field of Sustainable and Cooling/Heating, Solar Thermal Systems, Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer. At Centre for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Research, the primary objective of his research to conduct experimental research on coupling exhaust heat of the fuel cell to thermally driven cooling/heating technologies.

Qualifications

MTech Thermal Engineering, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum Engineering, 2016.

BEng Mechanical Engineering, Gujarat Technological University, 2014.

Biography

Bhargav has won the most prestigious Commonwealth scholarship awarded by UK government to pursue his PhD at the University of Birmingham. Bhargav has carried out research opportunities in thermal engineering with Siemens centre of excellence for Thermal and Flow analysis and Advance Simulation Process at PDPU.

Research

Bhargav research focuses on coupling of exhaust heat from solid oxide fuel cell to thermally driven heating/cooling technologies for sustainable heating, cooling and power generation. Primary emphasis is on the combined application of SOFC and absorption refrigeration system for a mobile application. Feasibility of the ammonia based absorption working pair in combined system will be examined to make system less bulky and efficient. It will assist to formulate appropriate operational maps for the fuel cell coupled cogeneration systems and effective heat recovery methods.

Other activities

Bhargav enjoys a range of sports activities, namely cricket, chess, and tennis. He also enjoys travelling and exploring foreign cultures.
