Nucleic acids is a growing research area within the School of Chemistry. Topics of interest include nucleic acid diagnostics, single molecule imaging and microscopy, DNA-templated synthesis, metallodrugs and novel sequencing methods. If you work or study at the university and want to find out more and get involved, please contact the lead for the nucleic acids interest group, Professor Jim Tucker at j.tucker@bham.ac.uk.
