Introduction to CQPWeb

This session will familiarise students with the use of CQPweb, a web-based corpus interface that allows to search corpora for patterns of varying size and apply various kinds of quantitative analysis. You will learn how to formulate queries, interrogate specific parts of a corpus, obtain various kinds of frequency information, extract collocations, and export data from CQPweb, among other things.
