For the final CREMS seminar before the Christmas break, we are pleased to be collaborating with BRIHC and CeSMA.

Karen Harvey, Nick Funke (CREMS, History), Toria Johnson (CREMS, EDACS) and Simon Yarrow (CeSMA) will be talking about how 'Self, Personhood and Ego-history' inform their own research. From semantics to sources and new areas of investigation such as the history of emotions, the panel will share research spanning the late medieval period to the eighteenth century. These short talks will be followed by an open discussion on how these themes can illuminate and inform work being done by researchers at all stages of their careers.

History of Self

This event is run in conjunction with BRIHC as part of their “History of Self” series of Autumn events across the School of History and Cultures
