Metamaterials-based Antennas for 5G Communications and beyond

Over the past decade we have pioneered the design of microwave and millimetre-wave, high-gain, planar antennas based on novel, multi-layer, periodic meta-surfaces.

The use of simplified high-impedance type metasurfaces has been proposed for low profile, high-gain antennas and more recently the design of optimised coupled multi-layer resonant cavities for broadband, high-gain antennas has been achieved.
