Luke joined the Department of Politics in September 2017. He did his undergraduate degree in Philosophy, also at the University of Sheffield, before completing an MA in Global Ethics at King's College London and a PhD in Political Theory at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to returning to Sheffield, he held postdoctoral positions at Goethe University Frankfurt (with the 'Justitia Amplificata' programme) and Durham University.
Luke has research interests in the political theory of cosmopolitanism and global political theory more widely, as well as in methodological questions in political theory.
This seminar is part of the 2019-20 Global Ethics Tea Seminar Series hosted by the Centre for the Study of Global Ethics.
