A star-studded line-up of speakers, from those with personal experience of the research benefits of participating in public engagement activities, to people who can help you get involved – Professor Janet Lord, Dr Sabi Redwood, Dr David Mulligan, Ms Debbie Ringham, and our own Dr Eliot Marston. We aim to convince you what a huge boost public engagement can give to your research, right from design through development and delivery, and on to dissemination.

The growing "Impact" agenda of the funding agencies (notably NIHR, the Research Councils, charities and EU), as well as the impending REF, make this a very timely point to find out more, and in addition to giving short talks about their experiences and advice, the panel will be happy to answer your questions in the interactive Q&A at the end of the session.
