FAQs In 'For Investigators' Trial documentationRecruitmentMeetingsNewslettersFAQsFor Investigators Back to 'PD MED' PD MED is a large national research study of treatments for Parkinson’s disease. What do I do when a patient’s diagnosis changes? Please continue collecting data when a patient’s diagnosis changes. This is best explained to the patient by either the clinician or nurse to help return rates of patient forms. Which drugs should I record on Follow Up forms? Only include drugs that are related to Parkinson’s disease, anti-psychotics and anti-depressants. When do I complete Follow Up forms for a patient? We will send you forms for your patients when they are due - this will be annually at the date of randomisation so please try to arrange patient appointments for roughly around the date of randomisation. What do I do if I’m interested in taking part? The study is closed to recruitment so unfortunately it is no longer possible to open new sites for PD MED.
