  • If the patient is randomised to receive revascularisation, the procedure should be performed as soon as possible and certainly within about 4 weeks of randomisation.
  • If the patient is randomised to medical management, revascularisation should be avoided if possible (with reconsideration of this only if a clear indication for such treatment is thought to have developed).
  • All other management as considered appropriate by the responsible physician.
