The Birmingham Centre for Nuclear Education and Research has strong active international links with industry, which directly steers the development of our teaching programmes. The University of Birmingham has run the MSc programme in Physics and Technology of nuclear reactors for more than 50 years. Up to 40 students graduate from this course per year; 90% of them go on to work in the nuclear sector or complete PhD’s in related topics.
