Biography

Alex Bentley is a student within the Physical Sciences for Health Integrated PhD programme. He first studied at the University of Leicester gaining a Masters degree in Physics. During his time at Leicester he completed a project looking into the capabilities of detecting emboli within the Carotid Artery using Ultrafast Ultrasound. Alex’s research interests mainly involve developing new methods for Medical Imaging.

His PhD is 'BLICS: Bioluminescent Imaging Using Compressive Sensing'.
