Katie Fegan

Doctoral Researcher
Physical Sciences for Health CDT

Katie Fegan is a first year student within the Physical Sciences for Health Integrated PhD programme. Prior to joining she studied an MChem Chemistry degree at the University of Leicester where her final year research project, which combined single molecule fluorescence spectroscopy with microfluidics to explore the dynamics of DNA junctions in real time, helped develop her interest in biophysics. She is particularly interested in the use of fluorescence methods for medical imaging.
