Physical Sciences for Health CDT
In 2016 Menisha started in the EPSRC Physical Sciences for Health CDT. She is interested in nanomaterials for biological applications, with her first mini project consisting of mapping nanoparticles in the microchannels of teeth. Prior to joining the Physical Sciences for Health programme she completed a Master’s degree in Drug Discovery and Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Birmingham. Her research project involved the synthesis of novel enzyme responsive nanomaterials as antimicrobials. She also has a first class BSc in Chemistry with Molecular Medicine from the University of Hull.
Her PhD is 'Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles as a Drug Delivery System for Antimicrobial Agents in Dental Applications' .
