Speaker: Tanya Bain, Project Manager, Comtec Translations

Abstract:

Comtec is a workplace where no two days are ever the same. My presentation will give a practical insight into the translation industry from the point of view of a Project Manager. I will demonstrate how skills learnt at University can be used to embark on a successful career in project management and in particular, the skill set required. The role of a Project Manager in the translation process will be defined and the benefits of Comtec’s bespoke translation management system and translation technology will also be discussed.
