A 360 degree panorama of root systems, created by Clare Ziegler  one of our PhD students using images taken from a minirhizotron camera.

3D models of the BIFoR FACE Facility woodland, Mill Haft can be found here.  These were created by flying a 15kg drone, nicked named "Big Tony" above the canopy.

BIFoR Director Prof Rob MacKenzie, took part in a TedX event at University of Birmingham during February 2019. His talk, "Are we making a better future for forests" is available to watch online.
