Examples of machine learning projects over different ‘omics data sets.

Dr Pagnuco joined the CCB in August this year. In this seminar, she will present her previous work and an introduction to her project in CCB. In the first project she analysed genetic associations using hierarchical clustering and cluster validation indices. In the second project, she generated phenotype classifiers based on a small number of genetic information. In the third project she used a supervised classification of protein superfamily sequences with a reliable cut-off threshold, where it was necesary to combine various bioinformatic tools as HMMER, Dendroscope, MAFFT, etc. In the fourth project, she constructed and applied a dynamic modelling of the interconnected p53/p63/p73 DNA damage response network and p53 mutations. Finally, she will present her work at the CCB applying iterative random forest to identify enhancer interactions in different developmental stages of embryonic stem cell differentiation.
