In November 2021, the UK hosted the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow. Its aim was to bring parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. 

The University of Birmingham is leading research to help mitigate and adapt to the risks and impacts associated with climate change.
