Database

This section contains experimental data for tests which have been carried out on the different energy storage systems (ESS) across the MANIFEST consortium. As further tests are completed over the coming months and years, data from operational runs of the ESS will continue to be logged here. Data will be captured and stored with sufficient granularity to provide data for research outputs, incorporating data into systems analyses and reliably informing industry on energy storage characteristics and performance.

UKESTO’s founding members endeavour to provide open access data on energy storage assets. However as data continues to be uploaded, some entries e.g. from industrial partner demonstrations may be subject to further security measures before access can be granted.

Please click on the titles below to access the experimental datasets. Datasets are displayed in reverse chronolgogical order, with the latest dataset at the top.

MANIFEST: Real and Reactive Power Profiles Intended for Calibration of Energy Storage Systems (09/10/2017)

Initial Author(s)

Shahab Nejad/Dan Gladwin – The University of Sheffield

Creation date

09/10/2017

More information

This data represents a set of real and reactive power profiles intended for calibration of multi-scale energy storage systems (ESS) within the EPSRC-funded MANIFEST project. The aim of these tests was to generate a set of comparable datasets using the diversified Energy Storage Systems procured and operated by MANIFEST partners. Herein, a description of the test regimes and data formatting, as carried out by the University of Sheffield (TUoS) is presented.
