Join us for the fourth edition of the Institute for Conflict, Cooperation and Security (ICCS) roundtable in the series ‘Expert Accounts of International Conflict: The Russian invasion of Ukraine’.
The 4th ICCS roundtable on this series provides expert accounts on the Russian invasion of Ukraine. We will discuss the humanitarian crisis and the effects of trauma on the ground regulating from experiences of violence, the disenfranchisement of ethnic minorities in Ukraine, the dynamics of the conflict that involve establishing and contesting ‘facts on the ground’, the misinformation / disinformation in the war, the security challenges that Russia’s weak position and performance poses, the danger of nuclear escalation, and the dynamics of getting to peace settlement.
