Podcast: Can Organisations Be Trustworthy?

Speaker: Professor Katherine Hawley (University of St Andrews).
Chair: Dr Jonathan Parry

Does it make sense to classify organisations as either trustworthy or untrustworthy, or should we reserve those categories for individuals? If we do describe an organisation itself as trustworthy, what does this imply about the behaviour, motivations, or relationships between individuals within the organisation?

Katherine Hawley is a professor of Philosophy at the University of St Andrews. She is the author of Trust: a Very Short Introduction (2012), How Things Persist (2001), and numerous articles in metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics.

Recorded: Monday 27th February 2017 (17:00-18:30)
