DESCRIPTION:On 05 May 2016, the Institute for German Studies (IGS) will hold a one-day conference to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its official opening by the then German Foreign Minister, Klaus Kinkel. The conference will be attended by some 50 IGS alumni, many of whom have gone on to become leading scholars in their respective fields, and will include panels on 'German History and Culture', 'German Politics', and 'Germany in the World'.\n
