Contact us

Tommy’s National Centre for Miscarriage Research warmly welcomes your interest and feedback.

For couples in pregnancy

If you are a patient then please contact our clinical team in the Early Pregnancy Unit of Birmingham Women’s Hospital via +44 (0)121 623 6834 or wendygibson1@nhs.net.

If you have experienced multiple miscarriages and you would like to become a patient at Tommy’s National Centre for Miscarriage Research, then the first step is to visit your GP to request referral to us. Please be aware that NICE guidelines recommend referral after you have had three miscarriages, although some doctors and hospitals support investigations after two miscarriages. After one miscarriage most women go on to have a healthy pregnancy, so it is unlikely you will be referred for further investigations after one miscarriage. Find out more about how to be referred to Tommy's National Centre for Miscarriage Research.

If you have experienced a miscarriage then you may also like to consider participating in Tommy’s misCOURAGE campaign to break the taboo of pregnancy loss.

For researchers

If you are a researcher or if you are particularly interested in the design of our miscarriage studies then please contact either Rajinder KaurMarcelina Podesek or Dr Adam Devall.

For healthcare professionals

If you are a healthcare professional who would like to participate in our clinical trials then please contact our Associate Professor of Maternal Health Clinical Trials Dr Adam Devall.
