Venue, Accommodation and Travel Arrangements
The EYES 2021 Meeting will be held at the new purpose-built Teaching and Learning Building at the heart of the University of Birmingham.
We are able to offer accommodation to 100 attendees. Accommodation is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and priority will be given to international attendees who register in time and present an abstract. For UK-based attendees, accommodation will only be considered for those residing outside the West Midlands.
Eligible attendees will be offered a 2-night accommodation at Bournbrook, a new residential development that opened its doors in September 2017.
Bournbrook is arranged into 34 flats housing between four and seven people in en-suite rooms. Bournbrook is on Aston Webb Boulevard, Birmingham, B15 2GR, and the meeting venue is just 10 minutes away.

There are plenty of options to get to the University of Birmingham.
Birmingham International Airport has direct flights from locations in the UK, as well as from the USA, Canada, Europe and the Middle East. The airport railway station has frequent services to New Street Station in Birmingham city centre (journey time around 15 minutes).
Up to six trains an hour depart from Birmingham New Street Station for the University on the cross-city line (ten minutes to University station, final destination Longbridge or Redditch).
We will update this section of this website as more information becomes available.
