courses training and careersAt the Institute of Microbiology and Infection (IMI), we recognize the importance of attracting and nurturing talented researchers who are able to translate ideas into reality.  The IMI Future Fellows Symposium aims to facilitate discussion of excellent science and identify emerging research talent.

It is anticipated that many participants will either hold, or wish to apply for, independent research fellowships with the IMI as their host institution.  This event takes place twice a year (Spring and Autumn) and provides participants with opportunities to discuss and develop their ideas with existing IMI academics  as well as to hear about expertise available to support fellowship applications.  If you are an enthusiastic researcher with an interest in microbiology and infection and wish to take part in our next IMI Future Fellows Symposium, then please email an expression of interest and your CV to Rachel Howes -  r.howes@bham.ac.uk
