Speaker: Professor Julie Gottlieb, University of Sheffield 

Julie Gottlieb is Professor of Modern History at the University of Sheffield. She has published extensively on the history of women and politics in modern Britain, her most recent monograph is ‘Guilty Women’, Foreign Policy and Appeasement in Interwar Britain (2015), and more recently she has co-edited a collection on Rethinking Right-Women Women (2018).
