Creating and Maintaining Trust through Leadership webinar

As the workplace continues to adapt around the pandemic, the importance of trust in and between employees has been thrown into sharp relief.

A large body of research attests to the benefits of trust within and between organisations. It also highlights that trust building can be challenging and contextual factors can play a large part in influencing trust levels. Although increasing before the pandemic, remote working has grown considerably during the pandemic with many organisations expecting to continue its use, albeit in some cases in hybrid form. Building and maintaining high trust with and between workers is especially challenging in such contexts and yet crucial for both employee wellbeing and as a basis for high performance.

In this workshop Prof Mark Saunders and Dr Colin Hughes examined how leaders’ and employees’ genuine behaviours can impact positively on trust levels, alongside exploring broader contextual influencing factors.
