My time at Birmingham

I chose to study here because it's an internationally recognised university which has a very good research output and excellent facilities all located on one beautiful campus.

First year is fab! You'll meet loads of new people all at once, definitely get involved in all the weird and wonderful things the university has to offer.

The best thing about the course is the wide range of choices available, the modules are so diverse and you can even specialise once you get here.

My favourite thing about the campus is the farmers market which comes on the last Wednesday of every month, it brings so many great goodies!

Birmingham is a great city, it's diverse, vibrant, multicultural, and not too big to be intimidating.

My future plans

In three years time I hope to be doing a pHD in embryology.

About the Student Ambassador Scheme

I decided to be a Student Ambassador because I love meeting new people and talking about the university experience.

The benefits of becoming a student ambassador are enhancing your people skills, lots of laughter and even more free cake!

My top tips for prospective Birmingham students

  1. Get involved
  2. Try and get out of your comfort zone
  3. Make sure you manage your time well
