Business Education Research and Practice

Exploring ways to critically improve business education that will help to develop leading responsible businesses.

At the University of Birmingham Business School, our education is core for both students and staff. The school has been proactive in adapting and developing its pedagogic practice, which reflects the constant change in the education environment and its focus on Responsible Business. Its activities have enabled the school to create new theoretical understandings of and/or practical approaches to the learning processes, experiences, and outcomes of business education.

BERP is passionate about ensuring that best practice is shared across the school and beyond and is keen to disseminate activities such as:

  • research projects around business education and pedagogy
  • Blogs
  • Video and podcasts
  • Events
  • Business School Education Conference

We see this as a mission, and it is this recognition that drive our efforts in the development of an exciting, inclusive and innovative BERP agenda reaching beyond the remits of “subject related teaching”. To achieve, this we are collaborating with national and international universities to develop a global BERP agenda. To follow these developments please visit our site and associated links.
