Zhe registered as a PhD student at Birmingham Business School in October 2016. Before starting his PhD, Zhe graduated from Warwick Business School in major of Business Finance and Accounting (MSc) with Distinction in dissertation in 2016. Zhe also holds a Bachelor of Economics in Finance from South China University of Technology.

Zhe Li’s research interests pertain to corporate social responsibility, and empirical corporate finance. His papers co-authored by his two supervisors have been accepted and will be presented in the top finance conferences such as the 2019 Financial Management Association (FMA) Annual Meeting (New Orleans, USA), and the 28th European Financial Management Association (EFMA) Annual Meeting (University of Azores, ISLAND OF S. MIGUEL, PORTUGAL).
