Birmingham Macroeconomics and Econometrics Conference

On 29th - 30th April 2013 we will be holding the Macroeconomics and Econometrics Conference at the University of Birmingham.

Keynote speakers are:

  • Roger Farmer  (UCLA, Bank of England)
  • Thomas Lubik  (Richmond Fed) 
  • Simon Wren-Lewis  (Merton College, Oxford)

The conference will run for two full days and a programme will be available in due course. There will be a dinner on the evening of the 29th April.

The deadline for submission of papers is Friday 8th February and decisions will be made by the end of February. Papers should be submitted in PDF format by e-mail to (submission is limited to one paper for each person who submits).

Accommodation will be provided and domestic travel expenses will be reimbursed up to £50 for those whose papers are accepted. In addition to lunches on the two days of the conferences the Conference Dinner on Monday evening will be provided to all participants.

The conference will take place in University House, the home of the Birmingham Business School.  Both days of the conference will take place in Room G03 on the ground floor of the building.
