The Department of Economics is very pleased that Daniel J. Duffy, an internationally known and experienced expert in his field, will be teaching a four-day intensive C++ for finance crash course at the University of Birmingham.

The course is specifically aimed at students and others who wish to learn enough C++ and computational finance in a short period of time while at the same time coming away from the course with the ability to independently learn more in the future. Suitable for first and second year undergraduates and MSc and Phd graduate University students, the course will be presented in such a way that each group can be trained in a way that is suitable to their current level of C++ knowledge. After successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate signed by Dr Duffy.

There are 50 places available on the course, with discounted prices for students with a valid NUS card and will take place on campus in Muirhead Tower.
