Joe Bromfield joined the Department of Economics at Birmingham in April 2018. Prior to this he was a Lecturer in Economics at Aston University, where he was also a Programme Director and the Director of Academic Regulations for the Business School. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His eclectic research interests include competition policy (particularly merger policy), macroeconomics, and the history of economic thought.

Teaching

Joe is currently the module leader for LH Industrial Organisation, LH History of Economic Thought and LC Professional and Academic Skills Development for Economists.
