Important Update

Due to unforeseen circumstances the MBA Open Evening has been postponed. For further information, or to arrange a 1-2-1 visit please contact Victoria Harold.

Come and meet the MBA Team by joining us for our MBA Open Evening 27th February. You will learn about our Full Time and Part time programmes, hear details of our exciting new projects and have the opportunity to talk with a member of the careers and admissions teams, as well as current students. There will also be a ‘taster lecture’ delivered by Dr Pamela Robinson  and Hazel Westwood – their lecture will be based around the recent horsemeat scandal.

As well as providing details of the content and structure of the programme, you will hear about the profile of our current students and the excellent networking opportunities that we offer.

The schedule for the evening is outlined below.

6pm-6.30pm: Registration/refreshments

6.30pm-6.40pm: Professor Simon Collinson, Dean - Welcome to the Business School

6.40pm-7pm: Dr Paul Lewis (Director of Full Time MBA Programmes) and Professor John Bryson (Director of Part Time MBA Programmes) -  An introduction to the full time and part time MBA programmes

7pm-7.30pm: Taster Lecture – ‘The Cart Before the Horse? The Ethical and Reputational Impacts of the Horsemeat Scandal in the Food Chain’ Dr Pamela Robinson and Hazel Westwood

7.30pm-7.40pm: Q&A session around themes of lecture

7.40pm-7.50pm: Dr Paul Lewis, summing up/debrief

7.50pm-8.00pm: Open the floor to general questions

8.00pm-8.30pm (close): Networking/informal Q&A with refreshments (including current students, Careers in Business, perhaps other module leaders)
