Purposeful Leader MBA Scholarship

Tailored for individuals who showcase exceptional potential in driving positive change and innovation, this prestigious scholarship covers the full-time tuition fee (£35,850 for 2024/25 entry) and is available to one full-time MBA candidate.

Responsible Business MBA Scholarship

Awarded to talented individuals who are committed to continuously building their skills and knowledge for a better world, this scholarship supports curious thinkers from different backgrounds, cultures and nationalities. There are multiple Responsible Business MBA Scholarships available as tuition fee discounts worth up to £10,000 for 2024/25 entry.

Responsible Business MBA scholarship application deadline: Sunday 2 June 2024

How to apply

1) Apply to study the full-time MBA at Birmingham Business School.

2) If your application is successful, you will receive a scholarship application link shortly after receiving your offer letter.

3) Apply for one of our MBA scholarships via the application link by the deadline. As part of your application, you will need to submit a personal statement and answer an essay question focused on responsible business.

4) Your application will be assessed by committee on a rolling basis. You will be notified of the outcome of your application by email. 

Executive MBA Scholarships

We are offering a limited number of scholarship awards to eligible candidates joining our Executive MBA (non-Apprenticeship route) for Autumn 2024 entry. These are partial scholarship awards and will be allocated to candidates based on their MBA application, CV and Personal Statement. Please email mbaadmissions@contacts.bham.ac.uk for more details.

For UK students

University Scholarships

The University has a number of scholarships available to postgraduate students. These cover both research and taught programmes, and assist with the cost of tuition fees. For more information visit our postgraduate funding database.

The Grants Register

Most large public libraries will have a copy of the Grants Register and possibly other publications, which list various grant-awarding and charitable bodies which may be willing to assist postgraduate students in certain circumstances. 

For international students

The British Council

The largest provider of assistance to international students is the British Council. As well as distributing British Government awards, it also acts as an agent for other funding bodies. For further information, contact the nearest British Council office to your home or, if in doubt or there is not one near you, the Educational Attache at the British Embassy or High Commission in your capital city.

University Scholarships

The University offers a number of scholarships for international students to reward outstanding academic achievement.

The Fulbright Program

American citizens with a minimum 3.5 GPA in their Bachelors degree may apply for Fulbright awards specifically for MBA students. Details and application forms are available via www.fulbright.co.uk.
