Birmingham Professors discuss "The Business of Business Schools" at annual London conference
Two key members of staff from Birmingham Business School took part in the Association of Business Schools (ABS) Annual Conference this week, which focussed on “The Business of Business Schools”.
Dean of Birmingham Business School, Professor Simon Collinson, and Professor Stephen Brammer, Professor of Strategy and Director of Faculty, both presented at the conference which looked at addressing the full range of challenges facing Business Schools and how the role of business schools and management education might change over the coming years.
The ABS Conference took place in London on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th November 2013 and was jointly sponsored by Bloomberg and the Financial Times. The event attracted UK business school Deans from around the country, alongside other high profile speakers including Nicky Morgan MP, Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Lord Young from the Cabinet Office and Liam Byrne MP former Chief Secretary to the Treasury.
