MBA and MSc programmes recognised in latest QS Global Rankings

The 2018 QS Global MBA Rankings 2018, Masters in Management Rankings 2018 and Masters in Finance Rankings 2018 were announced today  with our Global MBA, MSc International Accounting and Finance and MSc International Business having each been recognised.

Our MBA programme has been ranked in the 111-120 category out of 232, with a European ranking of 37 (out of 70) institutions. To achieve this, the University of Birmingham, Birmingham Business School has performed above the global averages in both alumni outcomes and return on investment indicators, and each has influenced the overall ranking score. Furthermore, these rankings reveal that our MBA programme presents a 10-year return on investment, which is higher than the global and regional medians.

Our MSc International Accounting and Finance has been ranked 54 out of 131 in the Masters in Finance category, highlighting our strong performance and enviable position above the global and regional averages in the diversity indicator for finance.

In addition, the MSc International Business has been ranked 68th in the Masters in Management category. Contributing to our position in the QS rankings is that Birmingham Business School has been placed above the global and regional averages in the diversity indicator for management.

The sector continues to experience a significant increase in competition which has led to significant movement across the rankings for a number of global business schools over the last few years. As a consequence of this ever-increasing competitive environment, Birmingham Business School are proud to consistently be included in the QS Global Rankings.
