Changing Lanes? Brexit and UK Automotive: Impacts and implications for corporate strategies and industrial policy

The primary goal of the Changing Lanes project is to provide an understanding of the impacts of Brexit and the technological shift to driverless and electric cars on the UK automotive sector, as well as to provide policy and corporate strategy advice to navigate these challenges.

Funders

The “Changing Lanes” project is a UK in a Changing Europe (UKICE) Senior Fellowship, awarded to Professor David Bailey. UKICE is a broader research initiative (that predates Brexit), aiming to provide independent research on UK-EU relations. It, and, by implication, this Senior Fellowship is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, part of UK Research and Innovation, and the main public funding body for the social sciences.
