Vasco F. Alves received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the Portuguese Catholic University (Lisbon) in 2010.
He went on to earn a MSc in Economics in 2011, and a PhD in Economics in 2016, both from the University of Edinburgh.
He has worked at several higher education institutions in the United Kingdom, as well as the Northern Ireland Civil Service, and is now a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Birmingham. Vasco's research work has been on strategic interactions related to queueing processes.
