Biography

Dr. Rweyemamu is a lecturer at the University of Birmingham, Department of Management. Previously he was a teaching fellow at the University of Bath, School of Management in the UK. During his time there he attained one of the highest feedback scores from students for his inspiring teaching style and was nominated for the postgraduate teacher of the year award. In addition he won the best description award for the image of research competition. Prior to this, he worked at the Open university of Tanzania and LearnIt Institute of Business and Technology where he won the best teacher award.

He obtained his PhD in Management at the University of Bath, in 2018. During which he won the three minute thesis competition in the School of management. He obtained his MBA (Finance) at the Open University of Tanzania in 2010 during which he was the best student in the programme. He obtained his Bachelor degree BBA (Management) from Tumaini University Dar es salaam College in 2008 during which he was the best student in the programme. He is passionate about teaching and research in economics and human resource management. He has presented his quantitatively based research on human resources outcomes such as employee turnover and work engagement in various conferences, one of which has been published.
