Sharin is an applied economist. Her main research interest is in understanding the determinants and obstacles of economic growth and development. Her research covers multi-level dimensions of individuals, firms, industries, regions, governments and their interplay, based on the observations drawn from different frameworks of both developed and developing economies.
Specifically, her interest can be grouped as Applied Development Economics and Finance, and Application of Institutional Theory in both Entrepreneurship and International Business.
